Advancing Sustainable Commuting at LinkedIn

Danielle Glaser
Head of Bay Area Transportation
LinkedIn

Session Description

In January, LinkedIn joined Microsoft in their carbon negative pledge, with a goal to be carbon negative by 2030, and to remove all historical carbon emissions by 2050. One large area of focus is the employee commute. Danielle will share what this announcement means for the LinkedIn commute program, and dive deep into how they are continuing to enhance their bike program to get more butts on bikes.

About the Speaker:
Danielle is an urban planner solving community mobility and accessibility issues in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the Head of Bay Area Transportation for LinkedIn, she is responsible for helping over 8,000 employees find alternative ways to get to work than driving alone. She hails from the great state of Michigan where she earned a B.A. in Sustainable Community Development and a minor in Environmental Studies from Grand Valley State University, and recently earned a Master of Urban Planning from San Jose State University. Her favorite thing about her job is talking with employees about all of their commute options and encouraging them to try something new.
